Easy Moving Calgary is a family-owned moving company Big Fox Agency has worked with across services — we run their organic SEO and their Google Ads. The website is the foundation all of that rests on. Before any ranking or any ad could pay off, the business needed a site that could actually turn a searcher into a booked move. That’s what we designed and built.
The brief: answer one question, fast
A mover’s website has to answer one question immediately — “can you handle my move, and how do I reach you?” The original site couldn’t. The brief was a clear, service-led site that covered the different move types, made getting a quote effortless, and had contact options ready for call tracking, so every lead source could be measured rather than guessed.
What we designed & built
We built a conversion-focused moving website on WordPress, structured around the way people actually shop for a mover:
- A complete service architecture. Dedicated pages for the full menu — residential (apartment and house moves), commercial and office moving, long-distance and interprovincial relocation, plus packing, storage, and specialty moves (senior, student, medical, IT equipment, antiques and pianos). Customers — and search engines — finally had a specific page for the specific job.
- A quote-first conversion path. A “Moving from / Moving to” free-quote widget repeated down every page, a dedicated booking page, and click-to-call throughout — so the next step is always one tap away, whatever the visitor is reading.
- Trust built into the layout. An “Easy 6-Step Moving Process” graphic to set expectations and reduce friction, transparent three-tier pricing cards (Small, Standard, and Grand Move), licensing and review signals, and free downloadable moving checklists as lead magnets.
- Call-track-ready contact options, so every lead source could be attributed and the marketing that followed could be measured.
- A foundation built to expand. Page templates designed from the start to scale into the local-city and long-distance route pages the SEO program would later add — turning the site into the launchpad for everything that came next.
The foundation everything else grew from
The website wasn’t the finish line — it was the starting line. Built on WordPress with a conversion-first structure, it became the platform the rest of the relationship stood on: the same foundation the SEO program grew into top Calgary rankings, and the Google Ads program turned into a 1,305% return on ad spend. One client, one site, three services working together — and it started with a build engineered, from the first page, to turn moving searches into booked jobs.
